The courtyard was laid in white and the runway ran under the porticoes, past guests seated between the columns. The collection was built on layers you can see through, sheer organza over cotton slips.

A morning show in the open shares the stage with daylight, and daylight changes with every cloud. It falls hard on the white floor and leaves the porticoes in shade. The work was to balance the show light against it. Slim vertical panels on stands stood along the colonnade, bright enough to carry the faces under the arches and soft enough not to fight the open sky.

For Blearred, Ivan Russo and Matteo Masini were lighting designers, and Matteo Moro operated the show.
