MARCO MENGONISTADIUM TOUR 2025
Marco Mengoni’s 2025 stadium tour was conceived as an epic visual journey, a transformation unfolding across music, light, and matter. Titled Marco negli Stadi, the show drew inspiration from the structure of ancient Greek tragedy, moving through acts named Prologue, Parodos, Episodes, Stasima, Exodus, and Catharsis. It was a meditation on identity and rebirth, a reflection on the fragility and renewal that have marked Mengoni’s artistic path. The creative vision originated directly from the artist himself and was guided by Simona Muti, his long-time creative supervisor from La Tarma, with production by Live Nation Italy.
Blearred was entrusted with the lighting, set, and scenic design, shaping the material and visual architecture that framed Mengoni’s concept. The project was directed by Davide Pedrotti and Jordan Babev as Blearred project managers, with the scenic design led by Eleonora Peronetti. Cecilia Magnozzi supported the process as scenic designer assistant and handled all presentation materials, decks, and documentation. The 3D development was crafted by Matteo Masini and Marzio Del Sole, while Olek Mar’yanov and Francesco Rizzotto developed the CAD drawings that defined the stage and its mechanical systems. Ivan Russo oversaw the technical aspects of the production as Blearred’s technical project manager, and Elisa Fiumanò coordinated logistics on site, ensuring that the creative and technical teams could remain fully focused on the execution. Gianni Porcaro joined the team as lighting programmer and operator, following the project from the early previs stages through to the live shows, ensuring consistency and precision across every phase of the process.
The stage design was built around the idea of destruction and renewal. Two monumental clusters of rock dominated the scene, splitting open during the show to reveal the inner world of the stage. At the heart of this space stood a kinetic sculpture made of transparent crystals that could rise and descend in shifting configurations, embodying the show’s central theme of emotional rebirth.
A striking mechanical system animated the LED screens. The display was divided into vertical sections suspended from a motorized rail. During the opening, these panels formed a solid wall that closed the stage entirely, then moved progressively upstage throughout the performance, eventually becoming a backdrop more than fourteen meters behind the front line. In motion, the sections created changing digital compositions and frames, blending video and light into a single moving scenography.
Extending from the stage, a twenty six metre bridge acted as both a catwalk and a symbolic passage between the artist and the audience. This massive structure could lift and rotate on itself, transforming the stage into a living mechanism and redefining the spatial relationship between performer and crowd.
The lighting design reflected the same architecture of transformation. Large vertical lines of light and tightly focused spotlights carved the space, isolating different zones and shifting the audience’s perception as the show evolved. The light moved between monumental and intimate states, sculpting Mengoni’s presence within the constantly changing scenic environment.
The visual and scenic world of Marco negli Stadi 2025 was theatrical, raw, and deeply emotional, a dialogue between fragility and power. Critics described the show as a journey from ruins to catharsis, a concert that transcended its format to become a total work of performance and design. Within this creative framework, Blearred’s role was to turn vision into form, giving the narrative of rebirth a tangible structure through architecture, mechanics, and light.
