The hall was kept dark. Two long lines of lights ran overhead for the length of the runway, and low lights on the floor marked the rows of benches. At the far end the room closed on a wall of white blinds.

Blearred lit the blinds from behind and turned the wall into a sheet of white light. Every model stepped out of it as a silhouette, black against the slats, and only on the runway did the show light find her face and the clothes. The hall was kept low so the wall stayed the brightest thing in the room.

For Blearred, Ivan Russo and Matteo Masini were lighting designers, and Matteo De Salvia operated the show.
