The show, designed and directed by Sergio Pappalettera and Romain Sabella, was produced by STS Communication, who also provided the technical setup. Our role was to handle the lighting design and act as Director of Photography for the live broadcast on DAZN. The challenge? Transforming the football pitch into a massive, glowing stage for a seven-minute celebration—while making sure everything looked incredible both in the stadium and on TV screens around the world.

We brought in extra lighting equipment to enhance the stadium’s existing setup, blending show lighting with the lights used for the actual game. Add to that some spectacular effects—fire, flames, sparkles, and CO2 jets—all helping to elevate the moment and bring the crowd’s excitement to a whole new level.

Legends of AC Milan, who’ve made history in those same stands, were present as part of the ceremony. Seeing them highlighted under our lighting design, set against the roar of the crowd, was something truly special. It was a perfect blend of sports, history, and showmanship—exactly the kind of emotional, larger-than-life moment that San Siro is famous for.

Looking back, it was a huge success for our studio. We’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful celebration, paying tribute to a club with 125 years of unforgettable moments and setting the stage for many more to come.
